GOING FROM NEVER TOUCHING A BALL OR PLAYING A SPORT IN HIS LIFE, TO A FULL RIDE SCHOLORSHIP IN A MATTER OF A YEAR SHAPED HIS FUTURE. ALTHOUGH MONEYBO’S LOVE FOR MUSIC PRECEDED HIS FOOTBALL CAREER, HE KNEW HE COULDN’T FOCUS ON SPORTS AND MUSIC AT THE SAME TIME. BO WAITED UNTIL RETIREMENT TO PURSUE HIS MUSIC CAREER, BECOMING THE FIRST RAP-LETE TO FIND SUCCESS AT BOTH GAMES. BEING A NATIVE OF MIAMI, MONEYBO BECAME WELL ACQUAINTED WITH SEVERAL ARTISTS THAT HELPED COACH HIM FOR THE NEXT PHASE OF HIS CAREER. HIS SKILLS, CONFIDENCE, ALONG WITH HIS ABILITY TO DELIVER VERSES WITH INCREDIBLE PUNCH LINES, IS WHAT GIVES HIM A UNIQUE CHAMPION SOUND. Jean D’eau, a flourishing rapper born and bred from the streets of Atlanta, Georgia, recently released his debut project ‘Who is Jean D’eau?’ exclusively on MyMixtapez. The project reached over 20,000 hits within the first week of being released.

D’eau credits his ideas and concepts to hail from both his street and Islamic background. “I was only 16 when I caught my case so I basically grew up in prison,” he says. “I served 10 years so you can imagine a lot of my subject matter is based on those experiences. I mostly talk about how devastating and dehumanizing prison is and how I never want to go back.” 

D’eau learned at an early age that wrong choices could either make or break you. At just 16, he made a wrong turn with the law and in turn, had to serve 10 years in prison. In search of a fresh start, D’eau decided to focus on writing about the experiences that shaped his current world. Focused on the vision of becoming a beacon of hope for his peers, community, and those facing adversity in general, he dove into his music career to shatter the negative connotations associated with those who have had a rough past. 

In an attempt to escape his reality, D’eau began to take steps in the right direction and focus more on the Islamic principles;keeping music as the focal point of his future. Once released, he began to regularly participate in various open mics andshowcases in Atlanta, Sarasota, Florida, and Charlotte, North Carolina. “My music showcases that hard work, talent and dedication can turn a negative situation into a positive outcome and achieve success.”

His musical influences range between mainstream heavyweights such as OutKast, Goodie Mob, Tupac, T.I., Scarface, UGK, 8Ball & MJG, Nas, Jay-Z, Notorious B.I.G., to street favorites such as The Lox, Yo Gotti, and Young Jeezy- just to name a few. 

He’s now currently on tour with fellow Atlanta Muslim rapper Ralo and has joined their respective record labels Mu’MinMuzik & Famerica Records. Their joint single, "Pay Attention” was released spring 2016, alongside Kenny Man, Monsta Swole, & Daddy O. 

Being on the road with Ralo from December 2015 to present date has really allowed him to grow his fan base and reach listeners all over the world.

A'RareBreed a Miami based hip-hop artist who lyrical word play as well as his great story telling abilities is one for conversation. A'RareBreed comes from the tough streets of Miami-Dade County and finds a way out through his music and life experiences. He feels as if he is a one of a kind artist who can deliver under any means. From his stage deliverance and his backup dancers amazing dance moves the crowd was bound to enjoy such an amazing  performance. Ararebreed has been featured on major publication platforms such as Thisis50.com, Hot97, MTV as well as featured in XXL Magazine Artist To Watch column. Goals in the music industry are to "make it telling my story and to get my family out the situation they are in and make others see that because you are from where I’m from you don’t just have to sell dope and rob to be somebody. " Ararebreed is looking forward to performing at 2016 A3C Festival in Atlanta, GA where he will be opening up for Migos, Rick Ross, Bun B and many more.
